Bespoke Wood Skirting - Working from Technical Drawing

In this article we describe a concrete example: the hand-crafted production of a skirting board designed to a drawing provided by the customer, with well-defined technical specifications and high-precision machining.
Ayous skirting made to technical drawing
The customer sent us a detailed technical drawing with the specific measurements to be complied with to make an exclusive skirting board. For this work, we chose solid wood of Ayousa particularly stable variety suitable for painting.
The boards were cut to width using a multi-blade machine, which allows precise and repeatable division of the material. Subsequently, we equipped the moulding machine with specific cutters to obtain the shape required by the customer.
To ensure a flawless result, each profile was carefully sanded to remove imperfections and prepare the substrate for painting. Finally, the skirting board was lacquered with water-based paint, a ecological and durable finish that enhances the quality of solid wood.
